At present, Advanced Time Synchronizer supports the following
types of proxy servers: HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS4A and SOCKS5.
To change the settings of a proxy server, open the Proxy tab in the Settings
dialog and check the Use a proxy server option, after that select the type of the
proxy server, enter its address and port number. If your proxy server requires
authentication, check the Use authentication for the server option and enter your
username and password in the corresponding input fields.
When using a proxy server, time synchronization via the SNTP protocol and TIME and
DAYTIME protocols with UDP network protocol can be performed only through proxy servers
supporting the SOCKS5 standard.
